Services/Custom web apps

Custom web apps for the thing you can’t buy.

What I build

Small, focused tools that replace a spreadsheet, an inbox or a pile of forms.

01

Client portals

A login where clients see their requests, files, approvals and invoices in one place.

02

Internal dashboards

The numbers and lists your team checks every day, pulled together on one screen.

03

Booking + intake

Custom booking, applications and intake flows that route to the right person.

04

Integrations

Connecting the tools you already use, so data stops being copied by hand.

05

Live data on your site

Status, leaderboards, listings or schedules shown on your website as they change.

06

Ongoing features

New features and fixes on call, as the tool grows with the business.

Built in-house first

Nomad Panel started as the tool that runs this studio. That is the same approach I bring to yours.

Nomad Panel

The client panel behind M13: a request queue, approvals, files and proposals that turn into projects.

EverHaven

A community site with live server status, player profiles, events and leaderboards.

Prairie Vintage Revival

Vendor applications that appear on the right event page once approved.

When a custom app makes sense

A custom app is worth it when the same workaround keeps costing your team time: copying data between tools, chasing approvals by email, or keeping a spreadsheet that only one person understands.

If an existing product does most of what you need, use it, and I can connect it to your website instead. If nothing fits, a small app that does exactly one job well usually beats a big platform you have to bend around your process.

Questions people ask

Why build custom instead of buying software?

Buy software when it fits. Build when you have tried the off-the-shelf options and your team still works around them with spreadsheets and email. A focused tool can be smaller and cheaper than people expect.

Who owns the code?

You do. The code, the database and the accounts are yours, built on common open tools so another developer could pick it up later.

What do you build with?

Next.js for the app and Supabase for the database, sign-in and storage. For content-heavy sites, WordPress with Bricks is often the better fit.

Can we start small?

Yes, and it is usually the best way. Ship the smallest useful version, use it for a few weeks, then add features on call.

Can it connect to our website?

Yes. Apps can live on a subdomain of your site or feed data into it, like the live server status on EverHaven.
