I started M13 in 2018 — working solo out of Abbotsford, BC, designing and building for small businesses who'd outgrown DIY templates but didn't have the budget (or the appetite) for a full agency.
Almost a decade in, the model hasn't changed. Solo on purpose, not by accident. One person designing, one person building, one person answering your email. No producers, no Account Managers, no handoff loss between whoever you talked to in the pitch and whoever ends up doing the work.
What that means for you: when you hire M13, you talk to me, and I do the work. Decisions are faster. Feedback loops are shorter. The person designing your site is the person who answers your email at 9pm when something breaks.

Traditional agencies are bloated with staff you'll never meet — work fragments across the team, voice drifts, quality slips between accounts. The way we conduct business has fundamentally shifted. Mountain Thirteen is the culmination of my vision: design, web, and brand work for small and mid-size business owners — packaged in a way that's fair, affordable, and reliable for teams trying to grow or scale.
