When I started this company in 2018, I was still in College and looking to make an extra buck or two on the side. I never liked the idea of selling services under my own name, though I’ve done that in the past. The idea of having an “agency” — even if it was just me, always sounded better.
Fast forward to today and I’ve been able to work with some amazing organizations in British Columbia. I’ve had an ongoing relationship with Archway Community Services including working on their 2024 Toys 4 Tots video.
And I also got to work with Advokate to help create a new logo and branding for their Celebrate Life Gala which also included a new website and formed into an ongoing relationship with Advokate.
There’s many more organizations that I got to work with during my time in BC and I look forward to continuing to work with them in the future.
However, as 2024 draws to a close, it marks the beginning of a new chapter for my family and Mountain Thirteen.
Earlier this year, me and my wife made the conscious decision to move back to Alberta. I grew up in Calgary, and Alberta has always felt like home for me. The desire to be closer to where I grew up, and to also be back in the prairies where the cost of living is a bit more affordable, was something that was important to us as we made this decision.
So….we’ve officially relocated to Taber, Alberta. My wife has a great job in town at the MCC Thrift Store as their new manager, and I have officially decided to pursue making Mountain Thirteen Media my full time gig.
After years of working at other organizations, I’ve felt that my true passion lies in creating. Creating websites, and logos, and videos and so much more.
I’m excited for the opportunity to do that for the first time, full time.
If you’re located in Taber, Alberta, or somewhere nearby like Lethbridge, I’d love to connect with you. I have a passion for working with non profits, local/small businesses and entrepreneurs. My heart is to help you succeed by creating you an awesome website and some graphics to go with it.
I’m looking forward to meeting you all. Please feel free to reach out to chat.
It’s good to be back.
